We have just taken delivery of some very special Lavender Dolls, unique to the Gawthorpe textile collection. These beautiful Lavender Dolls hand made by Yorkshire Dales Crafts have been especially commissioned by the Gawthorpe Textile Collection to celebrate Rachel the collections founder. They have been given Rachel`s hair colouring gleaned from a 1904 portrait painting and dressed in our own fabric designs from the collection that she preserved. We have reproduced these designs in miniature and put them in period costume. These are real works of art and offer the perfect way to own your own reproduction of some of our classic patterns in your own home. Priced at only £22 they are a great and unique way to celebrate the collection and Rachel herself.
